Went to West Point and got two hour tour this time. It was VERY hot…but we managed to get through it. The church was absolutely beautiful with all the great stained glass windows. It is really unbelievable to hear about all the history there and all the great officers that have come from there. After the tour, we ate lunch and then came back and toured the museum. It was very detailed with all the information about all the officers and their lives and successes. Eisenhower, McArthur, Patton, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and even Benedict Arnold all have a role in the story of West Point and our nation.
After touring, it was another really hot day….I decided we would go out to eat again…it was just too hot, so we headed to New Paltz again to go to a BBQ place that Henry had heard about from a police officer that he had been talking to at the campground. It is called Biggie’s BBQ and again, it was really good!
